Tributo is a new triticale variety bred by DANKO, registered in Poland in 2022 and currently undergoing trials in Poland and Germany.

Its above-average yield potential places Tributo among the top-yielding triticale varieties in Poland (No. 1 in yield in Poland in 2022!)

A short-strawed variety with high lodging resistance.

Suitable for cultivation across a wide range of soil qualities – Classes IIIa–V.

Medium-late heading and medium-early maturity.

It has exceptionally high disease resistance, particularly to stem-base diseases, powdery mildew, yellow and brown rust, glume blotch, rhynchosporium and Fusarium ear blight. Its high healthiness allows for reduced crop protection inputs.

Tributo produces attractive, plump grain (TGW approx. 45–50 g).

It stands out for its above-average resistance to pre-harvest sprouting.

It has a high protein content, making it ideal for animal nutrition.

Exceptional winter hardiness (5.0) provides reliable cultivation across the country.

Very good tillering ability allows for low sowing rates, helping to reduce certified seed costs.

The recommended sowing rate under optimal sowing conditions is 250–300 viable seeds/m² (approx. 130–150 kg/ha). For early sowing and intensive cultivation, the sowing rate should be reduced by 10%.

For delayed sowing, the sowing rate should be increased by 10%.
