Very good winter hardiness: 5.5 on a 9-point scale.
An exceptionally healthy triticale variety, particularly resistant to snow mould, Rhynchosporium, yellow rust, brown rust and Fusarium head blight.
Kasyno produces grain with very high TGW and bulk density. It also has very good feed quality.
Its high tillering ability allows for a significant reduction in sowing costs.
Under optimum conditions, the recommended sowing rate is 250–300 viable seeds/m² (approx. 150–170 kg/ha).
