Very high frost resistance, rated 5.0 on a 9^o scale, ensures high crop safety. It is characterized by high tillering capacity – it allows rare sowing.
A medium high variety (about 90 cm) with very good lodging resistance.
KASK has a high resistance to diseases, especially to powdery mildew, stem base diseases, yellow rust, tan spot and ear fusarium.
Works well on medium-quality and good soils.
It has coarse grain with good uniformity and a small proportion of offal (MTZ 45-50g).
Excellent quality parameters of grain in class (A) – protein content 13-13.5% and grain density 80 kg/hl.
It is in line with the Green Deal strategy.
The recommended sowing rate in optimal sowing term is 300-350 germinating seeds per 1 m² (ca.160-180 kg/ha). For early sowing and intensive cultivation technology, the rate should be reduced by 10%. In the case of delayed sowing, the sowing rate should be increased by 10%.
