Konstancja is the newest spring wheat from DANKO, with excellent grain quality parameters and healthiness.
All quality parameters (except deformation) are in the (elite) E group.
High, stable yield, especially in central and southern Poland.
Early variety with extraordinary resistance to soil acidification. It works perfectly on weaker soils with unregulated pH.
Konstancja has a longer blade, which is a particularly advantageous feature in dry years and when grown on weaker soils. It copes better with water shortages.
Very good health profile.
Konstancja is universal in cultivation which allows it for spring and autumn sowing, and due to its earliness and lower requirements, it is also suitable for cereal mixtures.
The recommended sowing rate, at the optimal sowing date, is 360-420 germinating seeds per 1 m². (approx. 160-195 kg/ha).
