Cattle breeding and rearing are carried out in six locations: Kopaszewo, Choryń, Stefanowo (wielkopolskie), Krowiarki (śląskie), Łagiewniki (kujawsko-pomorskie) and Dębina (pomorskie). The dairy cattle herd is over 4,000. heads, including 1700 cows of the Polish Holstein-Friesian breed, which are characterized by high breeding values for production and functional properties. Due to high genetic value of our animals, we make them available to breeding and insemination companies in order to select the mothers of bulls. Since 2012, in cooperation with PIW – PIB in Puławy, we have introduced a programme of combating infectious and viral diseases (IBR / IPV, BVD-MD).
In July 2014, we started breeding works using MOET techniques aiming at obtaining the brood with the best traits and the highest breeding indexes from genotyped, most valuable heifers. The total annual production of milk is over 17 million litres, with an average yield of approx. 10.3 thousand litres per cow.
Currently, we offer high-quality breeding material for bulls and calf heifers, as well as bovine embryos, live cattle and milk.
