On June 21st, 2013, in the headquarters of the Agriculture and Seed Department in Kopaszewo, a joyous conference celebrating the 20th anniversary of DANKO was attended by all Firm’s employees.
The gala was graced by the presence of the invited guests and the representatives of: the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Agricultural Property Agency, the Department of Plant Breeding and Protection, the Department of Breeding and Seed, COBORU, and the Main Inspectorate of Plant Health and Seed Inspection. The representatives of the local government as well as a wide group of scientists associated with DANKO also joined the event.
We hosted the representatives of many trade associations, local governments, research institutes and business partners based both in Poland and largely in foreign countries.
Dr Karol Marciniak, the President of DANKO presented the report summarising the company’s achievements over the last twenty years. During the conference, the participants had a chance to see the tangible success of the company embodied in the impressive special collection of DANKO’s varieties.
A recently opened exhibition in the Museum of Breeding was an additional attraction to the guests. Last but not least, the conference created the opportunity to thank and honour DANKO’s best employees – the contributors to the company’s success – with medals and state awards.
