During the Polish Cereals Fair taking place in Modrze, Jun 10th-11th, OSTROROGA, the new variety of awned winter wheat, was awarded the third place in the Innovative Product competition.
The characteristics that distinguish it from other awned wheat varities are: very good grain quality parameters, high cropping power, very good frost resistance, the best among all awned varieties resistance to lodging, very good resistance to pre-harvest sprouting (the highest among awned varieties), good resistance to fungal diseases, and excellent protection against game.
