Namaku

EXCEPTIONAL YIELD STABILITY YOU CAN RELY ON

  • Namaku is a new generation spring triticale that delivers where it matters most – in the field. Combining early maturity with a strong agronomic package, it offers growers a dependable, high-performing option across a wide range of conditions.

  • Its very stiff straw provides excellent resistance to lodging, helping protect yield potential and ensuring a smooth, efficient harvest – even in more challenging seasons.

  • Namaku produces bold, well-filled and uniform grain, supporting consistent quality and marketability.

  • In trials (2022–2024), Namaku delivered 106% of control yield across all input levels, demonstrating outstanding yield stability. Whether grown in high-input systems or under more moderate management, it performs reliably year after year.

  • Designed with flexibility in mind, Namaku shows excellent tolerance to less favourable crop rotations. It performs very well after cereals and maize, making it an ideal solution for farms with limited rotation options.

  • Recommended seed rate:
Under optimum sowing conditions: 400–440 viable seeds/m² (approx. 180–200 kg/ha)
