Miranos F1

Miranos F1 is a new hybrid rye variety with high yield potential in Poland, Germany and Denmark.
A versatile variety suitable for a wide range of production systems.
Thanks to its very well-developed root system and early maturity, it performs very well under extensive cultivation on weaker soils. Its exceptional lodging resistance also makes it well suited to intensive cultivation.
Miranos F1 has very good overall disease resistance, particularly to stem-base diseases, brown rust, powdery mildew, rhynchosporium and leaf Septoria.
The variety fits well with the objectives of the European Green Deal, which aims to reduce the use of plant protection products in the EU. It is also suitable for organic farming.
Miranos F1 is a medium-height variety with exceptional lodging resistance.
Miranos produces very plump grain (TGW approx. 36–38 g), the plumpest among all hybrid rye varieties, as well as a high falling number and high grain density, making it suitable for milling and baking.
Record-high TGW! High protein content.
Very good tillering ability. The recommended sowing rate is 2 sowing units: 200 viable seeds/m² (approx. 65–75 kg/ha). For early sowing and intensive cultivation, the sowing rate should be reduced by 10%, i.e. to 1.8 sowing units/ha.
For delayed sowing, the sowing rate should be increased by 10%, i.e. to 2.2 sowing units/ha.
