Iluminacja

  • Iluminacja is the latest winter wheat variety from DANKO, registered in Poland in 2024 after two years of tests.
  • A compensatory-type variety with high and stable yields across Poland, suitable for both medium-intensive and intensive cultivation technologies in various weather conditions.
  • Iluminacja “forgives” weather anomalies during the growing season and agronomic mistakes.
  • Excellent quality parameters make it suitable for milling and baking purposes.
  • Despite its good disease resistance, especially against yellow rust, full fungicide protection is recommended.
  • Medium straw length (94 cm) with good lodging resistance.
  • Produces attractive, large grains (TGW around 46 g).
  • Matures evenly and has increased resistance to pre-harvest sprouting and grain shedding.
  • Suitable for delayed sowing after maize and sugar beets.
  • Recommended sowing rate: 300-350 seeds/m² (150-180 kg/ha) in optimal conditions. For early sowing and intensive cultivation, reduce the sowing rate by 10%. For delayed sowing, increase the sowing rate by 10%.
