Dańkowskie Avanti

  • Dańkowskie Avanti is the latest winter rye variety, characterised by a record-high yield level among population rye types.
  • It is a versatile variety, performing very well in extensive cultivation on poorer soils (early variety), as well as in intensive cultivation, thanks to its very good lodging resistance.
  • Registered in Poland and currently undergoing registration trials in Austria.
  • The variety shows good disease resistance, which supports the aims of the European Green Deal, aimed at reducing plant protection product usage within the EU.
  • Medium plant height with high resistance to lodging.
  • Produces large grains (TGW approx. 32–35 g) with very good quality parameters, making it particularly suitable for milling and baking purposes.
  • High protein content.
  • Very good tillering ability. The recommended sowing rate is 2 sowing units, i.e. 260 viable seeds/m² (approx. 80–90 kg/ha).
  • For early sowing and intensive cultivation, reduce the sowing rate by 10% (to approx. 1.8 SU/ha).
  • For late sowing, increase the sowing rate by 10% (to approx. 2 SU/ha).
