An excellent, low-cost catch crop!
Cultivation
- Semi-leafless forage variety with purple flowers and light brown seeds featuring a seed-coat-coloured hilum.
- High seed yield – 104% in the official registration trials conducted in 2020–2021.
- Low thousand seed weight (TSW) – approx. 205–220 g – resulting in significant savings in sowing rates, both for grain production and catch crop use.
- Variety with good resistance to lodging before harvest.
- High disease resistance, especially to powdery mildew and downy mildew.
- Plants characterized by very uniform ripening.
- Recommended for feed purposes, both in pure sowing and in cereal mixtures, as well as for green forage in catch crops.
